Moving the Palace | S. Korea's New President is Moving from the Blue House

South Korean President-elect Yoon Seok-yeol says he's determined to abandon the presidential compound in favor of a more transparent office closer to the people. Instead of Cheong Wa Dae, which is famous for its blue-tiled roofs signifying royal Korea, Yoon's administration will most likely share offices with the Ministry of Defense. Will it truly create a less corrupt executive branch? Or will the palace politics just move to wherever he goes? Will Korea finally emerge as an active democracy free of its dictatorial legacy?
