Handsome Gold Medal Olympian to Die For? - Shocking Case of Speed Skater Kim Dong Sung
The Hitman and an Olympic Gold Medalist?
South Korean short track speed skating champion Kim Dong Sung won one gold medal and one silver medal at the 1998 Winter Olympics in Nagano. Four years later in 2002 in Salt Lake City, he nearly clinched another gold medal when at the last moment he was disqualified by IOC judges for an illegal maneuver. South Korean fans cried foul and outright theft when the medal was awarded instead to U.S. skater Apolo Ohno. In my opinion, when looking at the replay, it did look like Ohno was doing a bit of ‘acting’ for the judges to give them an excuse to make a false accusation against Kim.
After that Olympic loss, life seemed to unravel for Kim. Marriage life and job prospects were shaky - leading to divorce and accusations that he was turning into a bit of a lady hustler. In an attempt to resurrect his image and get himself back on the right track, earlier this year, he appeared on a reality show for recent divorcees, but our favorite infamous entertainment reporter Kim Yong Ho decided to call the Olympian out on the PR job that was being fed to the public.
Reporter Kim’s main point focused on the point, “Are we just going to ignore the fact that his last girlfriend just went to jail for two years for ordering a hit man to kill her own mother so that she could spend more money to be with the former Olympian?” Reporter Kim says the speed skater has a tendency to dodge accountability for his actions and consistently gets caught in his own lies when trying to hide ties to some of Korea’s most high profile scandals, including the one that brought down President Park Geun-hye.
Nonetheless, the man is giving it a shot. Or do you think the ladies need to be on the lookout and lock the door? Leave your comments below!
