According to sources from HYBE, New Jeans creator Min Hee-jin wanted absolute power to terminate exclusive artist contracts at her sub-label ADOR. HYBE not only said no, it uncovered evidence that the request was part of a larger plot to steal New Jeans and run off with $200 million of HYBE's money. In essence, Ms. Min is accused of planning a corporate kidnapping of the company's #1 K-pop girl group while also pocketing the ransom money. OMG.
