Wicked New Jeans MAMA Didn’t Get HYBE’s Ruby Slippers

Former New Jeans producer Min Hee-jin abruptly announced her departure from HYBE. She will no longer be part of the board of directors at ADOR and has abandoned the New Jeans members. However, she’ll continue her own litigation to force HYBE to cash out her canceled stock options. Yet she faces multiple lawsuits where she may be bankrupted by millions of dollars in penalties.

Meanwhile, New Jeans member Hanni had her bullying case thrown out by the labor ministry. At the crux of the ruling was Hanni’s status as a non-employee. Only employees are protected under the Labor Standard Act in Korea. Nonetheless, this obvious oversight should’ve kept the National Assembly bunny uncles from sticking their necks out in such a public embarrassment. Unless, there were some unfulfilled cookie orders involved.
