Real Fishermen Don't Act Sus - Were They Fake Too?
A group of seven fishermen claim to have either directly seen and/or heard a person who looked like a male go into the Han River for a swim at 4:40 a.m. on April 25, 2021. If credible, the account would single-handedly give Mister A a clean alibi (since he's recorded leaving the park at 4:32 a.m.) and provide investigators the possibility that Son Jung Min walked into the river to his own death.
However, a recent interview with three of the fishermen on SBS' "Unanswered Questions" seems to cast doubt on the legitimacy of these eyewitness accounts. The seven fishermen were not one group. Rather, a group of four "fishermen" who've never fished at the Han River before "met up" with three other fishermen on the river to try to catch some eels because they'd been out of work. They fished for a little over an hour before calling it quits and supposedly hearing and seeing a male figure walking into the river with his clothes on while audibly declaring how refreshing it was at 4:40 a.m.
