A third suspect has been arrested in connection with the “Gapyeong River Valley” mystery where a young wife allegedly pressured her husband to leap off a cliff into a river just hours before his life insurance was set to expire. Who is this third person? Mr. Lee, her ex-boyfriend. This means this accused 31-year-old black widow went to the river with her husband, her extra-marital boyfriend and ex-boyfriend. What kind of circus was she traveling with? Or were these two her accomplices?
Prosecutors suspect Mr. Lee at least had advance knowledge of the plot to have Mr. Yoon (a non-swimmer) to leap off the waterfall with them in a final jump before ‘heading home’. Instead, the ex-boyfriend and extra-marital boyfriend are accused of leaving Yoon in the water to meet his watery end and perhaps even hastening the plot. What do you think?
