Highlights and Hidden Meanings from President Yoon Seok-yeol’s Inauguration

Impeached Ex-President Park Geun-hye Attends Ceremony

On May 10, 2022, former prosecutor Yoon Seok-yeol was inaugurated as South Korea's 13th president. Seated behind him was the nation's 10th and first female president, Ms. Park Geun-hye, whom Yoon helped impeach. Apparently they've buried the hatchet, but is it too much too soon for the country?

In his speech in front of a crowd of over 40,000 people, President Yoon pledged to create fast sustainable growth for the economy while ensuring the right to freedom for all citizens. On the topic of North Korea, he offered an 'audacious plan' to give economic aid in exchange for nuclear disarmament. All in all, the ceremony was amazingly well produced. In this video, find out what I really thought and stay for the tea!
