They brought in Lee Nak Yeon, the former prime minister and runner up in the Democratic presidential primary to join the campaign to go on a unity tour starting in January 2022. However, Seoulite TV believes the Democratic Party just admitted that they took out an insurance policy on Lee Jae Myung.

Should the Daejang-dong land scandal bring down their candidate, they will have their replacement primed, ready and already 'campaigning' around the country in January. Moreover, for many within the party, Lee Nak Yon was the rightful heir apparent and should have had a run-off in the primary before Lee Jae Myeong snatched the nomination. Mark my words, there will be some volatility in the ruling camp in the weeks ahead if this land scandal can find any footing. If not, then Lee Jae Myung may be unassailable.
